@electroniceducation: This image explains the electrical and refrigeration system of a modern refrigerator. Main Components Main PCB Control Board The refrigerator's "brain". Controls compressor, fan, light, sensors, and defrost cycle. Capacitor Helps the compressor start and run smoothly. Door Switch Turns the interior light ON/OFF when the door opens or closes. Evaporator Coil Located inside the cooling section. Absorbs heat from inside the refrigerator, making it cold. Defrost Heater Melts ice that forms on the evaporator coil. Interior Light Illuminates the refrigerator when the door is opened. Thermal Fuse Safety device that disconnects power if overheating occurs. Condenser Coil Releases heat to the outside air. Filter Drier Removes moisture and impurities from the refrigerant. Refrigerant Lines Pipes that carry refrigerant through the system. 11 & 12. Compressor - Pumps and compresses refrigerant gas. - The most important cooling component. Thermostat Sensor Measures refrigerator temperature. Pressure Sensor Monitors refrigerant pressure. Refrigeration Cycle Compressor → Condenser Coil → Filter Drier → Capillary Tube → Evaporator Coil → Compressor Compressor compresses refrigerant gas. Condenser coil releases heat. Filter drier cleans the refrigerant. Capillary tube reduces pressure. Evaporator absorbs heat from inside the fridge. Refrigerant returns to the compressor and the cycle repeats. Wire Color Code Brown = Live (L) Blue = Neutral (N) Light Blue = Signal Red = Control/Power Black = Control Line Green/Yellow = Ground (Earth) For Refrigerator Technicians If a refrigerator is: Not cooling → Check compressor, capacitor, thermostat sensor, PCB. Ice building up → Check defrost heater and thermal fuse. Light not working → Check door switch and bulb. Compressor not starting → Check capacitor, relay, PCB, and compressor winding. This diagram is a good overview of how a modern frost-free refrigerator works electrically and mechanically. follow up more information #ElectronicsExplained #ElectronicsEducation #foryou #CircuitDesign #basicelectronics
