@design..ed: I have been thinking a lot about buttons… and why good button design is so important. In product design, the smallest details make the biggest difference. Buttons are one of the most used user interface elements, whether it’s physical product design or digital UI/UX. A well-designed button improves user experience, usability, and interaction by giving clear feedback, the right resistance, and intuitive communication between the user and the product. Bad buttons create frustration, confusion, and poor product experience. Good buttons feel satisfying, responsive, and almost invisible because they just work. This is something I’ve been focusing on while designing my Habit Block—iterating on tactile feedback, click feel, responsiveness, and overall interaction design to create a better everyday product.
