“It’s cheating” it’s Minecraft. The only way anything is cheating is if it gives you an advantage over another player (pvp hacks, xray in an smp world, etc. ). You cannot cheat in single player, it’s just playing different.

it'd be cool if it was different levels, like mending 1 is basically vanilla, mending 2 let's you use stored xp at half efficiency, mending 3 let's you use stored xp at full efficiency
