I’ll just keep leaving the cords and hooking it to the truck/ equipment battery when I need fuel. Power tool batteries are too expensive to leave in the elements or have bouncing around in the cab

I have never needed fuel for anything that had a dead battery. The fuel is not needed until the battery will crank what ever you need fuel for.

why wouldn't you just get two wires that are long and use alligator clips and hook it on the machine batteries? then you don't have to worry about dead batteries ever
