@krisshe4: Focal impaired awareness means I’m not aware of myself or my environment during the seizure. And I won’t remember any of it afterward. The clearest evidence is in the second clip when my wrist slams into the corner of the table , and I don’t flinch. I had a bruise the next morning. That’s a brain that isn’t receiving or responding to that signal in real time. The last clip is the aura right before I generalized into a tonic seizure. I had no memory of getting up, walking off camera, or that I yelled. This is different from another type I have, where I can still feel what’s happening to my body but can’t see, hear, or understand my surroundings.
