Bro, it’s very rare for a GL to make me think, because many shows lack depth, with a few exceptions. Usually, I watch them for entertainment, but here I found myself discussing this episode with friends and reading different opinions on X. I think, judging by the director’s comments, that’s exactly what he wants to achieve with this series, to make people think about something. And for ep 1, he achieved that for many viewers. I like that, and I’ll keep watching. And yeah, this doesn’t feel like a typical GL. I LOVE DRAMA

Yes, she did ask for the divorce. Instead of opening up to Neen about everything she was going through, she chose divorce as a solution to their situation and to give her wife (whom she loves deeply) some peace.

so her mom is actually not homophobic shes totally fine with Runch liking women she simply just does not want that women to be Neen she just hates Neen mostly because they belong to different family backgrounds and she hates the fact that Neen comes from a rich family she sees her as a spoiled brat basically who doesent deserve her daughter.
