یہ شعر انسان کی زندگی کی ایک گہری حقیقت کو نہایت سادہ الفاظ میں بیان کرتا ہے۔ شاعر کہتا ہے کہ چند دن کے لیے اسے ایک شاخ پر رہنے کا موقع ملا تو وہ یہ سمجھ بیٹھا کہ پورا باغ اسی کی ملکیت ہے۔ لیکن حقیقت میں نہ شاخ اس کی تھی اور نہ باغ۔ یہ صرف ایک عارضی قیام تھا۔ انسان بھی دنیا میں آکر اکثر یہی غلطی کرتا ہے۔ اسے دولت، شہرت، طاقت یا خوبصورتی مل جائے تو وہ خود کو ان چیزوں کا مستقل مالک سمجھنے لگتا ہے۔ وہ بھول جاتا ہے کہ یہ سب نعمتیں وقتی ہیں اور ایک دن سب کچھ یہیں رہ جانا ہے۔ دنیا کی ہر چیز عارضی ہے، جبکہ انسان کا یہاں قیام بھی چند دنوں کا مہمان خانہ ہے۔ یہ شعر ہمیں عاجزی اور حقیقت پسندی کا درس دیتا ہے۔ جب انسان یہ جان لیتا ہے کہ اصل مالک اللہ تعالیٰ ہے اور وہ صرف ایک امانت دار ہے، تو اس کے اندر غرور کی جگہ شکرگزاری پیدا ہوتی ہے۔ وہ دوسروں کے ساتھ بہتر سلوک کرتا ہے اور اپنی کامیابیوں پر تکبر نہیں کرتا۔ آج کے دور میں لوگ معمولی کامیابی پر خود کو سب سے بڑا سمجھنے لگتے ہیں۔ لیکن وقت کا پہیہ ہمیشہ ایک جیسا نہیں رہتا۔ جو چیز آج ہمارے پاس ہے، کل کسی اور کے پاس بھی ہو سکتی ہے۔ اس لیے ضروری ہے کہ ہم دنیاوی نعمتوں کو اپنی ملکیت نہیں بلکہ اللہ کی عطا سمجھیں۔ مختصراً، یہ شعر انسان کو یاد دلاتا ہے کہ دنیا میں ہمارا وجود اور ہماری کامیابیاں عارضی ہیں۔ ہمیں غرور کے بجائے عاجزی، شکرگزاری اور حقیقت شناسی کو اپنانا چاہیے، کیونکہ اصل ملکیت صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کی ہے۔ This poem expresses a profound truth about human life in very simple words.
