Not saying it’s the proper way but I work on a fleet of br 500s and I find it fastest to just pull the fan and recoil + flywheel to do oil/crank seals by popping them out with a pick and putting them back in with a 19mm socket . If you were cleaning the valves and seats that’s another story tho
