I have a question on severance pay, let’s say I’ve worked with a company for 4 years and In that 4 years my basic has changed let’s say 3 times, so when I decide to leave and they calculating my gratuity do they use the current basic pay or maybe it be calculated depending on the basic pay for each year?

This is very insightful. But I still have something to ask, sir, if one has worked for instance, 8 years, do you then multiply the basic salary by the number of years (which in this case is 8 year) worked for or the number of years worked for is strictly 3 years when calculating for gratuity?
