I just listened to the Pete Best version, the studio drummer Andy White’s version, and Ringo’s version. The production for the Pete version isn’t as good as the others and Andy does a great job but I like Ringo’s version best.

I'm glad Pete got some money in the end. He's now a millionaire believe it or not. I think Ringo was the correct choice BUT they treated Pete very badly. Can you imagine living 20 odd years knowing that you were a Beatle right up to weeks before the band made it big? That's tough to live with

People forget that they were just kids and band members came and went. So that sort of thing was not unusual. George git a black eye while defending Ringo but time proved it was the right decision.
