So interesting! Her sculpture of Puck was bought by EdwardVII on his Grand Tour and was in his rooms at Oxford university. It’s now in the cafe at Holyrood palace 😂

I'm decended from the Gahagan sculptor dynasty from the 17th/18th century. Sarah Gahagan exhibited at the Royal academy after being taught in her family art studio. alot of the later work attributed to her male family could have actually been her. There were far more female artists than we have credit for!
