Elizabeth, this video is a HUGE Godwink for me! The first few years after my sweet Daddy died, I retreated for the day & just tried to put my head in the sand & read a book, take a nap, etc. Then, when I was expecting our oldest, I knew I had to face it head on & I did. I began making my mom her favorite dessert on Fathers Day in addition to making the occasion fun for our children AND their Daddy. I’ve found myself wanting to avoid this Fathers Day because my 88 year old mom broke her shoulder & won’t be coming back home to our home that she’s lived in the past 8 years…she’s soon headed to a memory care nursing home…a place she has said all 55 years of my life that she NEVER wanted to go…the place that I NEVER wanted her to go…a place she made us promise she’d never go…it just ALL TOO MUCH right now on its own and that’s WITHOUT my daughter getting married in two weeks 🤯 I say all of that to say this video has given me an opportunity to bawl my eyes out & now I’m headed to Publix for CoolWhip & Biscoff because MY MOTHER’S WEAKNESS IS BISCOFF COOKIES 🍪 THAT is the Godwink for ME through YOU 🙏 I CAN DO THIS FOR MY MOM because of this video! It’s God telling me that He is with me through all of this AND he’s with Mother too ♥️Thanks again, friend ☺️
