This is all done so incorrectly. You cannot do what you just did and call that a retrofit. The mud sill is split and all anchor bolts or Titens must have atleast 4-5 inches of penetration into concrete. That is a 3” slab you bolted to. I work in Berkeley all the time doing the best seismic retrofitting in the Bay Area, please contact me to go over this more in depth. Seismic retrofitting is not hobby work, it is research driven science applied in craftsmanship. Please contact me and allow me to enlighten you guys. I love the videos by the way.
