He implied that it’s not the first time… so I think there’s resentment he hasn’t addressed - he’s the poor communicator. He also said he’s normally done by 4. She also didn’t tell him last minute (actually at 3pm) so maybe he could have negotiated an early finish (depending on his role).

The kids are 6 and 7. I think he can let them watch a movie in the other room while he works. Plenty of people watch their kids and work full time from home

Not finished it yet, but I want to share my opinion up to this point. On one part she didn't say anything about the fact that he was supposed to take care of the kids, on the other part is possible that something like this already happened in the past and he knew that she was implying that. Either way they should go to couple therapy to learn how to communicate better
