I’m in the process of trying to sell my business. We actually have a scheduled visit in the office tomorrow with the buyer with a potential closing date of four weeks from today and I will officially be retired. And I’m nervous, anxious, constantly thinking about it because I can’t wait to eliminate all the stress and anxiety.

Retired for just over two years and came back from a vacation yesterday. As I was unpacking it dawned on me that I don’t have to go to work on Monday and I was so grateful.

I retired 2.5 years ago at 54. And I spent most of it trying to discover what my “purpose” is in retirement. I am gently pushing back on that notion now. I’m pretty sure my purpose has turned out to be enjoying no longer working. 😆
