Rent is a trap, you are helping the owner pay their mortgage and also grow equity. If the house appreciates to 700k, if they sell, there make money, why you that is renting is paying the same amount as mortgage without getting anything.

We understand your point of views. But at same time. It’s still better to buy than renting. Have no regrets of taking such steps. Let come to reality. You rent a house and be paying €800/monthly for 25 years. That’s €240.000. Do you know that if you manage to buy the house and pay same 800€/monthly to the bank. 25 years later u decide to sale the house. Do you know how much u gonna earn from it after taxes and charges?
