Maureen Thurston :
I haven’t watched the episode yet and I haven’t watched Dr. pimple Popper in ages. Although she’s one of my favorite dermatologists. In December, I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma with metastasis. I had one tumor removed three weeks ago on my upper inner thigh. It’s nice to just have that out, but it has filled up with fluid, which they call a stoma. Now it has ruptured and most of the fluid has come out, it is clear and healthy looking which my Surgeon said is great! So just been treating that making sure my leg does not get lymphoma which really scared me because your leg can get really big, and can cause all kinds of issues such as, skin infections, cellulitis, which I have had before, and that is the most painful thing ever. So I was really terrified, but with compression and taking care of it the best way I know how and the wonderful doctors I have at University Of Colorado Hospital in Aurora Colorado are excellent! Good luck on your treatment. You are in great hands little miss, I’m sure it will be so nice not to have that in your line of vision. Don’t worry about them doing things around your eyes. I also had three surgeries on my eyes because of diabetic retinopathy, and I was terrified to do it lol, it was a breeze except for hanging my head down for three days after each surgery because they put a gas bubble in my eye in front of my retina, I believe so it would hold it in place not positive. That was the only painstaking thing that I dealt with. That was a little annoying, ha ha ha, but life is good, God is GREAT and you will be just fine sweetheart! 🙏🏽Let her know I said that maybe she reads these comments not sure! Thank you Dr. PP!
