No cuz, I don’t read the comics so my opinion might be out of place but the way he just replaced her with Jean yet continued to have telepathic contact with her while “trying” to get back with Jean 💀 AND OMG the new season??? The way they just act like Madelyn isn’t Cable’s mother??? Like she never even existed???

honestly ‘97 kinda botched her storyline which sucks bc it’s truly heartbreaking. in the comics she wasn’t initially presented as a clone of Jean, Scott met her after Jean died and she was treated as a different person with her own memories (though everyone noticed that she looked exactly like Jean and found it kinda questionable). she didn’t find out she was a clone until much later and ugh it’s such a good storyline I love Madelyne 😭
