Although the majority of people don't know this, I think it's also common knowledge that phones are discontinued the very year that they are made. I feel people deliberately choose to get phones that are boxed in that they appear a little bit more neat, and of course, they still want to experience the unboxing. The difference with how a business handles this is just being open and transparent to their customers, telling them these phones are not necessarily new, but they are repackaged and parts that were faulty replaced. It's basically getting a refurbished phone at a really good value for the experience of unboxing and having a phone that looks really neat as opposed to getting a pre-owned with scratches…. Non active phones only start from the current phone

We got one from an Indian store for my friend battery was 100% after 8 months 78% mind you it was boxed…it was a fourteen pro max for my sister was brought from Dubai 3years ago battery is now 84% 😭😭
