I think the reason he doesn’t wear his all the time is because he doesn’t full think of him self as a hero because his dads a villain and he thinks that makes him less worth of being a hero and won’t be able to live up to the expectations of being one compared to the rest of the hero’s so he only really puts it on when he need to help and or emergency’s but hey that’s just a theory a miraculous ladybug theory hehe 😂

4 reasons: 1. Too obvious that he has a sudden piercing(Because he can't camouflague it) and in his nose just like Minotaur. 2. He doesn't think he's worthy of the miraculous. 3. His girlfriend(He wanna look like the best boyfriend, which with a piercing he doesn't look like it for most parent or his own girlfriend). 4. When Ladybug calls the vibring in his nose can be annoying.
