the sx740 is so extremely blurry compared to the g7x. if i’m paying $600 for the powershot i might as well pay $800 for way better quality

I have both & the G7X is still better as the quality of photos is insane (it’s got a bigger sensor) but the SX740 has amazing zoom on it. If you can find a G7X reasonably priced I’d say to still pick it up, it’s unreal 😋

The reason the g7x is the price that it is, is because it’s better quality. You can get raw photos in a compact camera. You can’t get that in an sx740hs. I can get the same quality of photos from my g7x, as my fujifilm (which is higher in price)
