@thelaceybahns: I will share the full birth story soon but just found this video from our photographer and wow. This moment was SO powerful. I couldn’t feel anything bc they gave me diff meds so that incase we needed a c for baby B i wouldn’t be able to feel… and that’s what happened. So i was able to breathe Sloane out bc i still had feeling and pressure… But when it came to pushing for Stevie, i couldn’t. And she was not descending. Too much space. And her heart rate tanked.. lower and lower until they finally called emergency C. We were about to have the C section. I consented. I’ll explain more in the full story… but i prayed so hard in that minute between them asking me and getting the knife that Jesus would step in and guide someone’s hands. I called on him during this whole birth and he was there. It was incredible. I prayed that he would help me get Stevie out. I spoke to Stevie and said please Stevie come on out sweet girl. Mom is right here, Sloane is here, daddy is here. We are ready for you And a doctor i never met was there. He went in and helped dilate my cervix back to full bc it started closing Stevie descended And she came out There’s a video of everyone cheering that ill share one day maybe 🥹 What a beautiful, wild ride 🎢 #twins #twin #twinsandmultiples #twinbirth #momlifeunfiltered

Listen. No one was rooting for you to fail, and how beautiful you got what you wanted. Truly. But don’t forget, many of us were concerned because we have seen and had to care for women who weren’t so lucky… I pray everyone gets good, consistent medical care and listens to their own providers about best courses of action.

Glad you had a positive outcome. Your experience unfortunately is not the norm so hopefully other women out there will make informed medical decisions and not see one positive outcome as the standard to doing things.

God was definitely on your side !!!! Not everyone is that lucky. But it does not also make you more of a twin mom then the rest of us who did not go to 40 weeks! Congratulations! Enjoy those babies.

People don’t understand that this “isn’t the norm” because of so many unnatural interventions leading up. My MIL carried my brother & sister in law twins to 40 weeks. This is the resulting of trusting your body and being in tune. Congratulations 💕

The amount of pushback twin moms get is insane!! I know this feeling so well. I went 39.5 weeks and pushed my babies out 5 minutes apart. Best experience of my life

And I had a vaginal twin birth at 35 weeks 6 days with no NICU time. The majority of comments I saw were not judgment but concern bc current literature does not support this. Glad you and your babies are healthy.

35 weeks. Identical twin girls. 9 days nicu. C-section. I think my lord was with me too. They’re almost 16 and thriving. Everyone came out happy and healthy. Almost ten pounds of baby. They called mine growers and eaters in the nicu. Watched them eat. Watched them grow.

In your other video you said you got petocin which means you ended up being induced. That’s probably why they’re okay. Happy for you though
