I thought Jermey delayed and even postponed the wedding after hearing the bad news. And didn't continue to marry Ohara since she was one of the suspects for shuri's death in the 1st timeline. The children were already attached to her but couldn't convey their feelings properly. I consider her more of a big sister for them who stepped up as a parent. On the second time line, I appreciate their bond more. Especially Shuri and Jeremy for their hard work as older figures of the family. I like the part where Jeremy realized something and considered Shuri.

to be fair I doubt anyone would have saved her on time. they purposely killed her on the way and in the forest knowing no one would have the chances of running into the scene. that's the sad and scary part. Shuri was gonna die either way and no one would have been able to help her because of how it was planned and handled. the fact it later took them so long to find and put her body back together because they couldn't find her head is heartbreaking. I can't imagine how scared she must have been.

Bruh her stepkids including Jeremy were not even celebrating abt the wedding bc the day before wedding their mind was preoccupied abt Shuri herself where they were discussing abt that woman came to tell her those harsh words. Even on the wedding day all 4 kids were still thinking abt her making her a surprise to call her their mom.
