@foodierandy: EASY MEALS FOR 2, EP. 8 Spicy Shrimp Pasta with Spinach Ingredients * 154g dry pasta * 250g shrimp, peeled and deveined * 2 cloves garlic, minced (6g) * 35g shallot, finely chopped * 1 cup heavy cream * ½ cup grated Parmesan * 50g spinach * 1 tbsp butter * 1 tbsp oil * 1 cup reserved pasta water For the Shrimp * 1 tsp Cajun seasoning * ½ tsp Old Bay * 1 tbsp oil For the Sauce * 1½ tsp Cajun seasoning * ½ tsp Old Bay * Salt & pepper, to taste Instructions 1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil and season with 1 tsp chicken bouillon. Cook pasta until 1–2 minutes shy of al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining. 2. Toss shrimp with 1 tsp Cajun seasoning, ½ tsp Old Bay, and 1 tbsp oil. 3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and oil, then sear shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside. 4. In the same pan, sauté shallot for 1–2 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. 5. Pour in heavy cream and stir in 1½ tsp Cajun seasoning, ½ tsp Old Bay, Parmesan, and a pinch of salt and pepper. 6. Add ¼–½ cup reserved pasta water and simmer until the sauce reaches your desired consistency. 7. Add spinach and cook until wilted. 8. Return the shrimp to the pan along with the pasta. Toss everything together, adding more pasta water as needed until silky and well coated. 9. Serve immediately with extra Parmesan on top. Notes ✨ I used Slap Ya Mama Hot Cajun Seasoning, the sauce will taste different depending on the brand of cajun seasoning you use, so adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your desired taste. ✨ Cooking the pasta in chicken bouillon water adds extra flavor to both the pasta and the sauce when using the reserved pasta water. #creatorsearchinsights #pasta #shrimp #DinnerIdeas #foodtutorial
