The problem says 2/9 of the rectangle is shaded. Yet he solved the problem by labeling 2X on both shaded areas. That seems inconsistent with the problem. I am not a math person, just asking.

These are like the tricks we were learning to move faster in the SAT and GRE tests. You can’t do it the long way cuz you won’t finish the test, so you have to figure out a shortcut
