You don't miss the old game.. you miss the people you played it with. you miss the feeling of hopping on after school, the weekend all nighters, the taking turns on solos while at a sleepover, and the spending hours on playground having the deepest talks and goofiest time waiting for storm to come. Fortnite isnt dying. Were just getting older. and the feeling of excitement and love of the game fading as we all have jobs and responsibilities with less time to play or even care about the game. Just be happy knowing thats theres kids out there just like we used to be. there pulling those all nighters and jumping on after school. And soon, if not already our own kids will be asking the same question we all used to... "Dad, can I get a skin" the game may be old to us and the excitement has faded. but to them, its that beautiful game we all say we miss. Im gonna try to get my OG squad back together. tragically theres not 4 of us anymore. so were gonna raise hell in trios in honor of that lost friend. Have fun in the game. remember the good times. and dont forget. you can always do your best to make new memories with what you have now. To whoever decides to actually read this. Make sure you thank the bus driver. and share the good loot. you never know when the last game will be. Or when the last "where we droppin" will be said. Just keep that in mind. and enjoy the good times while there here for you!
