Literally talked to my husband abt this and how I don’t want either of us to use intimacy as reward, punishment, or incentive. Like obviously if we’re mad at each other we may not want to be intimate with each other but I want us to both recognize that that’s because I need us to be in a good place for me to want it, not because I want to punish him. None of this was an issue for us already, but I still wanted to say it before getting married or being intimate. And he was like “oh absolutely”
