While that shit is a emotion rollercoaster when I watched it in theaters, I do feel like there’s a lot of emphasis on Jax in the last couple episodes. You can call it bad writing all you want, but nothing is written by the book. There’s no need to have a useful or morally correct jerk, not every character need to have a fair screen time, not everything needs to be by the writing book. Writing is a creative process, and you can’t have something new if you just follow the same book. You can’t make meaningful music if you just use the same overused lyrics. If we keep living in this world where everything needs to be by what is considered “normal”, the creative industry will die surely. Sometimes, you just gotta make some controversial moves to stand out. And if you didn’t really focus on that, I feel like it’s very entertaining.
