They are best for canning I’ve been using mine for over a year even time I can so they have been well used other than some stains on these are great and still look pretty new.

I buy the old good cotton flat sheets in a thrift store. Wash and bleach them, rip em' down into nice sz tea towels, and I'm good to go, all for about a buck.

These are THE BEST towels. I have been using them for yrs. Great for clean up, straining home made cheese and covering dough prior to baking. The 100% cotton is what one needs if you use them for more than clean up!
