Wrong. Completely wrong. U.S. Congress will do what it does to competition: kill it on behalf of the donors. They will federally outlaw the use of AI models from foreign nations, specifically China “due to national security”. It’s what they did to BYD, Huawei, and almost TikTok (until forced to sell to Larry Ellison).

I don’t think China’s intent is to crash the U.S. economy as they prosper from a stable global economy. They look at AI as a nice tool they don’t hype it as something more than the language models they are.
