As a fat artists who loves drawing fat women there is a reason they were often depicted in classical paintings. There is a level of artistic difficulty and movement in the way fat sits on the human form. From a technical standpoint it’s hard to draw fat but that’s what makes it interesting and rewarding. Even when drawing thin people you need to consider how the smaller amounts of fat sit on their body. Drawing fat and muscle are key skills in making a compelling figure sketch.

A hater made an entire account just to redraw my characters and me as fat, covered in scratch marks, and getting 🍇’d, all because I have a popular COD OC who isn’t skinny. 🫩 And this was before I blocked all of her accounts for constantly leaving body-shaming comments and insults about my OC and me. Then she made a video claiming she was a “fan” and that I blocked her because she had a pride flag in her bio (I’m literally bi), trying to get me cancelled.
