My friend growing up knew how to tie like 100 different knots, he tried to teach me some but I couldn’t get it. However his sister taught me how to take her bra strap off with one hand. Best knot you can learn to untie.

With that bowline you should always tighten the knot completely down and possibly tuck or safety hitch the tail end afterwards. Ive been working on and around the water for close to 20 years now. Ive seen them roll iver them selves and come apart plenty of times. And the knot with the 2 half hitches are called a clove hitch.
