@samantha_angelie: Noticed a long time ago my IBS symptoms were worse when I ate meals heavy in gluten and/or dairy. Only problem- there was no medical reason for it. All my tests keep coming back normal. No allergies, no overgrowth of bacteria, no parasites. Colonoscopy showed inflammation from throat to exit, we just can’t figure out what’s causing it. The more gluten and dairy I have, the bigger I bloat. My bowel movements become emergencies within a few minutes. I get anxiety every time I’m going somewhere new and don’t know if there will be a restroom available. I just don’t want to feel like that any more 🤷🏻‍♀️ #ibs #irritablebowelsyndrome #colon #glutenintolerance

My bowel issues were related to endometriosis. Of course I had other issues as far as period related, but could be worth looking into. The anxiety of not knowing how your stomach is going to react day to day is sooooo draining. I hope you get answers 🫶🏻

Hey! I wanted to suggest trying kefir (especially on days where you may eat food that you know will effect you negatively) I know several people who take it daily or as needed, they struggle with slightly different symptoms but overall it has seemed to give them some relief and helped me too! It’s not a cure but definitely worth a try:)

I’m up to the biopsy. I’m right with you girl. I weigh 126 and look 5 months pregnant at 55! I “go” maybe once a week to 10 days.

Have you tried a pre/pro/post biótics to help with gut function/health? Only asking as I travel for work a lot and with always eating out,y stomach would stretch like that. Started taking some and it seemed to help

Got diagnosed with celiac at age 20. Going gluten free is hard, but it’s changed my life! I’m strictly 100% gf now. It took years to get here though. It’s a hard journey but it will change your life! I’m also on low fodmap

Only thing that’s helped me with my issues has been a holistic health coach! She’s helped me sort through what I’m eating & how it makes me feel. Also recommend taking a SIBO test!!

I’m a former massage therapist and my teacher in school was a licensed nutritionist. She put us on the Blood Type diet. Me specifically, is Type 0 and we are sensitive to gluten and dairy. But also to citrus, pork & other things I never thought of. Last year my blood work did show allergies to wheat, dairy, soy, corn, peanuts & eggs which are all foods that blood type Os should avoid. Dr. Peter D’Adamo spent decades researching this & I really recommend reading his book and researching his websites. Hope you find answers for your healing journey!
