I do not know the science just my personal experience I have never did MT1 but 2 🫰🫰 Shes never did me dirty no burns and I am blonde hair blue eye and freckled lady 😅

I would say your body is just getting used to the sun penetration since you’ve never really tanned prior. It’ll get used to it eventually
