@flynnillustration: Not my usual content so feel free to scroll but it might help some of you! MECCHA CHAMELEON on Mac quick steps: 1. Install CrossOver (free trial and then later paid, v26+). Install Steam into a bottle. 2. Install the game via Steam. (Don't bother installing Visual C++ — it won't fix the error.) 3. Open C: Drive → Program Files (x86) → Steam → steamapps → common → MECCHA CHAMELEON → Chameleon → Binaries → Win64 4. Make a plain-text file named steam_appid.txt in that Win64 folder. Its only contents: 4704690 5. Optional - CrossOver → Wine Configuration → Graphics → tick "Emulate a virtual desktop" (1280x720). 6. Keep Steam running + logged in. 7. CrossOver → Run Command → Browse → pick PenguinHotel-Win64-Shipping.exe or whatever is called -shipping.exe Add flags after the “ -windowed -ResX=1280 -ResY=720 8. Run. Click "No" on the NVIDIA driver warning. 9. Save Command as a Launcher for one-click access. Note: unofficial workaround. #mecchachemeleon #steam #mac #hideandseek #tutorial
