Yotsuba deserved to win because, at the end of the day, she was the one who was always there for Futaro without asking for anything back. While the other sisters were focused on making him notice their feelings, Yotsuba was focused on helping him, supporting him, and making his life easier. She was the first one to accept him as their tutor when everyone else wanted nothing to do with him, and she never stopped believing in him. Even when she loved him, she kept her feelings to herself because she cared more about her sisters' happiness than her own. She wasn't trying to win; she was just being herself. What makes it hit even harder is that Yotsuba was the girl from Kyoto, the one who inspired Futaro years ago and played a huge role in shaping the person he became. But even with that connection, she never used it to get closer to him or gain an advantage. She carried that secret alone and continued supporting him from the background. Futaro eventually realized that whenever he was struggling, whenever he needed help, encouragement, or someone he could rely on, Yotsuba was always there. Their relationship wasn't built on big romantic moments or constant confessions—it was built on trust, comfort, and genuine connection. A lot of people say Miku or Nino deserved to win because they put in more effort romantically, and that's a fair opinion. But love isn't a reward for effort. If it was, relationships would just be competitions. Futaro chose the person who made him happiest, the person he naturally wanted by his side, and for him, that was Yotsuba. She didn't win because she had an advantage. She won because she was the one Futaro fell in love with. And before anyone comes at me—I like all five quints. This isn't hate toward Miku, Nino, Ichika, or Itsuki. It's just why I think Yotsuba's ending makes sense.
