And btw even 1080p Blu-ray looks 10x better than 4k Netflix…you can immediately notice the difference, the compression makes it a night a day difference

Nice. I’ve been doing it for years. I use Emby though. I think I have 2000 or so movies on a 80TB Synology NAS. Which also runs Home Assistant, and a few other things in Docker.

I’ve thought about this. I have over 1200 blu ray and dvds that I’ve been buying/ collecting since college. I think I like the aesthetic of it all set up in my home.
