What about seeing objects that are not what they are, like looking at something that resembles something, but isn’t really that ??

My mom called me one day screaming in fear saying that my dad was trying to off her. It wasn’t true, but she truly believed it. She was taken to hospital and then moved to dementia unit. She had other paranoias about people stealing from her. She just passed away, it’s so sad to see people go through this after living a productive life.
