@calf_raise_machine: A stuck ATC mic has to be one of the most unintentionally hilarious things in aviation. One second pilots are expecting important instructions, and the next the entire frequency is listening to somebody breathe heavily, complain about their day, sing along to the radio, argue with a coworker, or unknowingly broadcast a conversation they definitely did not intend for hundreds of people to hear. The longer it goes on, the more desperate everyone becomes waiting for someone to realize they’re holding the push-to-talk button. For pilots and controllers, a stuck mic is basically the aviation equivalent of someone accidentally replying-all to the entire company.
