Self love is not the cure for loneliness. I stand by this so much. We can love ourselves till the cows come home but at the end of the day humans are social creatures who thrive off interaction

You can't meet all your needs alone, and people HATE to hear that. Needing connection, needing to be seen and heard, needing to be touched, those are all valid needs you simply can't fullfill just by "loving yourself".

Two things can exist at once. You can be lonely and be ready for love and also be okay at the same time. Ya know? There is power in surrender & accepting whatever the moment is providing you. I had a similar day on my own today, too.
