Việc của mình thì mình làm. Người đời nói gì, nghĩ gì cũng là quyền của họ. Còn mình vẫn giữ một lòng kính tin cửa Thánh, bởi ngoài sinh tử và nhân quả ra, chẳng có điều gì đáng để phải quá bận tâm. Những chuyện đâm bị thóc, chọc bị gạo, buôn chuyện đầu làng cuối ngõ, suy cho cùng cũng chỉ làm hao tổn thời gian và phước báu của chính mình. Người có tri thức sẽ tìm đến người có tri thức. Người sống đàng hoàng, tử tế thì dành thời gian để hoàn thiện bản thân, chứ chẳng mấy ai rảnh rang đi soi xét cuộc đời người khác. Vào cửa Thánh là để tu tâm, sửa tính, chuyển hóa phiền não, giảm bớt nghiệp chướng và học cách sống thiện lành hơn mỗi ngày. Chứ không phải để dựa vào Thánh mà cầu danh, cầu lợi hay làm giàu cho bản thân. Những thứ ấy nếu không đủ phúc đức để gánh thì rất dễ thành nghiệp.#căn #xuhuong #danang #haudongvietnam🙏

I know this seems like a bit much but every day I feel like someone is mocking our intelligence. Because why? Why as a college that is known for its architecture program and kinesiology program (outside of agriculture and vet school) this bad? Not to mention the black you see on the limestone can literally be treated!!!! We learned this in our chemistry class last year as we did a lab on what weather does to different elements from copper to limestone. Limestone is the Manhattan stone. You mean to tell me not one student has brought it to anyone’s awarenesss that the black portions on the stone can be treated through either pressure washing, soft washing, or using biocides. It’ll be about 13,000k and more but a school that charges about 10-15k per student per semester is roughly about 500 million a year. It’s better than allowing the weather to destroy the stone which can eventually crumble over time to the point the whole building would need remodeled especially if it caves on itself when students are around which is an even larger payout. You can also utilize a sealant to protect the stone along with strengthen it with a calcium oxalate. I’ll find my paper from chemistry last year that literally stated exactly what happens to limestone due to weathering. It isn’t looking like the investment is worth the payout. Is this all a joke? Is someone fucking with us college students to make it seem like: “You can get a degree but it doesn’t buy common sense or intelligence.” Because I feel like that’s going on or that the wrong people are in charge so things to maintain longetivty and integrity aren’t getting done. This is what I mean by it’s seems like someone wanted a spot so badly but had no clue all that spot entailed. That they just wanted to get where they were going (like running this town per say) but actually lacks the capabilities to keep things afloat which will cost an even bigger investment. Also, these are the students you are sending out into the world? You mean to tell me nobody has said anything? How can you use limestone but not know how to treat it in a design? Is that not number one in remodeling or designing a structure is the maintenance it’ll require to protect its integrity and longevity? Anywho.
