I have a 2003 VW Golf that needed the automatic transmission replaced. It took nearly 3 weeks to locate a usable transmission! They literally built millions of VW Golfs, Jettas and Bettles that all used the same automatic transmission between 1999 and 2005 and finding a decent one in working order was almost impossible.

They stopped selling new cars and started selling car LOANS. That’s why the cash price is always higher than the finance price… They stopped manufacturing cars and started manufacturing drive-able computers. A warranty is only as good as parts availability. And planned obsolescence is the new manifestation of greed. 💯
