This is the thing, cars like ev's are computers more than any other, and need constant software updates to work, like your phone or windows pc that will soon no longer be support, then what? you need a new car, I know of someone that headlight buld blown he went to the local car shop got new bulb and the car refused to switch it on the computer doesn't recognise the new bulb, he sold the car and got a 2nd hand old car he can work on

Most of the old electric vehicles use 18650 batteries, in thousands . These are the same cells used in some power banks. But BYD uses the blade battery instead.
