This is why I quit nursing school in the middle of the program . Bc I would get anxiety everytime I gave any meds. Like panic attacks. Even tho I did it right I triple checked and then checked again.

I will never forget when I took a bg that required 15 units of insulin. Waited too long outside the 1h mark but the oncoming nurse said “eh it’s just a few minutes”. I took the extra 3 mins to recheck and it only needed 5units by then. ALWAYS follow protocol and double check!!!!
