@herbswithjen: Okay this one is just fun — but also kind of telling. If you were stranded and could only grab 7 herbs before being completely on your own — which ones would you choose? Here’s my list and why: Plantain — wound care, stings, bites, inflammation. The most underestimated yard plant alive. Elderberry — antiviral, immune-supporting, documented for centuries. Your immune system needs backup. Yarrow — stops bleeding, breaks fevers, supports lymphatic drainage. Three functions, one plant. Soldiers carried this into battle. Ginger — digestion, nausea, inflammation, circulation. And you can replant the root. It keeps giving. Astragalus — deep immune support built for long-term stress. Strategic. Not flashy. Essential. Usnea — antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral. Documented against strep, staph, MRSA, and more. No pharmacy on a deserted island. Stinging nettle — iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamins A, C, and K, protein. A wild multivitamin that grows for free. Probably should’ve added Lions mane or Turkey Tail BUT these were the 7 that came to mind first! Here’s what strikes me every time I think about this… God put provision in the ground before He put us on it. Every single herb on this list existed before we ever needed it 😭😭 That is not coincidence. That is design! Drop your top 7 that come to mind first in the comments — I genuinely want to see your list. ⬇️ Tag someone for their list after you give me yours!🫶🏼 . . . . #fyp #herbs #herbalremedies #christianherbalist #wellness

I love your content and have learned so much!!! Question about stinging nettle… does the sting aspect go away when it’s dried like for tea?
