@50shades_black: June 20th, 1967, Muhammad Ali was convicted in Houston, Tx for violating the Selective Service Act by refusing induction into the armed services. He was fined $10,000, and sentenced to 5 years. Ali fought the conviction for 4 years. In 1971, the Supreme Court struck down his conviction. in 1977, Jimmy Carter pardoned everyone who had violated the Selective Service Act between the years of 1964 - 1973 #muhammadali
