Juicy Yogurt Chicken with Fresh Crunchy Salad | ASMR Cooking Perfectly spiced yogurt-marinated chicken cooked until tender and served with a refreshing cucumber avocado salad. So simple, healthy & delicious! Ingredients: For the Chicken: • 4 chicken leg quarters or chicken pieces • 1 tsp garlic powder • 1 tsp ginger powder • Juice of 1 lemon • 1 cup yogurt • 1 tsp crushed red chilies • 1 tsp crushed cumin • 1 tsp crushed dried coriander seeds • 1 tsp black pepper • 1 tsp red chilli powder • 1 tsp chaat masala • Salt to taste • 1 tbsp barbecue masala (optional) • Olive oil + butter for cooking For the Salad: • 1 cucumber (peeled into ribbons) • 1/2 red onion, sliced • Handful of pomegranate seeds • Handful of parsley, chopped • 1 avocado, chopped • 1 carrot, peeled into ribbons • Handful of peanuts Salad Dressing: • 3 tbsp olive oil • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar • 1 tbsp sesame seeds • 1 tsp sumac • Salt & black pepper to taste • Optional: squeeze of lemon juice Recipe: 1. Cut and clean the chicken. 2. Add garlic powder, ginger powder, and lemon juice. Rub well. 3. Add yogurt and all spices. Coat the chicken properly and marinate for 30 minutes. 4. Meanwhile, prepare the salad by combining cucumber, onion, pomegranate, parsley, avocado, carrot, and peanuts. 5. Mix all dressing ingredients and pour over the salad. 6. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan. Cook chicken from one side until lightly golden, then flip. 7. Cover and cook on low heat until juicy and tender. 8. Serve hot with the fresh salad, naan, or rice.
