I know with piercings you’re supposed to just clean them and leave them alone but I swear when my last few got infected I’d clean it with sterile saline and then put a TINY bacitracin on it and they all healed beautifully

Try a longer bar it will give it room to breathe and you can use a shot glass with warm saline on top once you’ve changed to a longe bar and it helps a lot

get a plastic eye patch on amazon and tape it on during ur shift! that helped me a ton when i had to wear scrubs for clinicals :)

Ask the Dr on the unit for meds or pharmacy… have done this a few times when I forgot my bp meds. Surely they’d do this for an infection too

I think the bar might be too short! This happened to me and as soon as I got it switched out it healed perfectly

I've had my belly button pierced for a couple years and when I first got it done I used a bactine spray every morning and night while rotating the jewelry and moving it up and down. I hope this helps!

Had mine get infected after switching to a different bar. The person who pierced it told me to wash with antibacterial soap and put a little tea tree oil on it. Was cleared in a few days.

I’ve had my belly button pierced for like 7 years and when I first got it the thing that saved me when it got infected was the orange anti bacterial dial! I also used Neil med or whatever it’s called to clean it!

If you take an iv catheter and hook it to the flush it creates a higher pressure and really cleans it out🥰
