as a teenager. I must agree its very tiring. Drama escalates so quickly it just puts me off of the topic the drama starts over. Still haven't watched TADC because I rather just not be associated with that side of the internet entirely. My only complaint is that MatPat literally predicted the ending from the pilot, and part of me feels like that shows lazy writing(I have not been able to avoid spoilers of the plot, just haven't watched the show itself)

as a young adult who’s had two opposite phases in my teenagehood and detached himself from either, it’s kinda of surreal to see my own past behavior thrown back by other people having realised how psychotic I sounded

I personally think it’s more so that these teenagers feel that their ideas are the center of the universe and don’t like to think about how people change because then they have to ask what if they change for the worse. It’s probably also why so many hated the ending of the show because the ending message is “People Change for Better or Worse.” The bad things will pass eventually. That’s what I got from Gooseworx ending, as well as that the end of things doesn’t matter, what does is making the most of your life and situations thrown at you. This leads into other factors of why I think teenagers hated TADC ending especially when the controversies started but I’ll hold off unless prompted.

I agree on the part of talking about how creators who have their own show like viv and goose REFUSE to let go of something they did on the internet especially before they get more recognizable on the internet. WE ARE MERELY HUMANS we makes mistakes constantly either on the internet or outside of the internet. we can learn from are mistakes and past to make us more human instead of repeating those actions in the past. we aren't perfect beings sorry to say that but its the truth. we are just humans and we learn from are mistakes.

And since the beginning of the show they showed both Pomni and Jax as the main characters. Obviously starting off with Pomni entering the circus, and then immediately bumping into Jax who was the first person to interact with her. Later showing how they do the switching back-and-forth between the point of views between her and Jax which is a COMMON thing that show writers due to show the viewpoint of the main character characters. It always centered around those two. And it had stayed consistent through throughout the entire show running.

Slowly growing up was me realizing like “what is the point of these public Twitter callouts?” Like it can be warranted but it’s been weaponized to the point where it’s ultimately meant to stir the pot and make a hate mob.
