I had a similar experience where I never had any butterflys in my stomache or got nervous or had crushes when I thought I had my first one that was just because I think I thought she was super kind and pretty then I dated people and stuff and settled for a friend who confessed by talking abt someone she liked and me hypeing her up and saying why that girl would want to date her then we got together as both people kinda on the aroace spectrum now its a year later and were still dating we kiss and stuff like that but I think this past year def made me realize I am aro/ maybe quoiromantic (?) because I feel attraction to people platonically alot and don't realize so yeah idk
